OUR TERRITORY
BETWEEN HISTORY AND TRADITIONS
Our history
In 2016 Alessandro Barrani together with his father Antonio and his mother Maria, decided to group the family vineyards into a single farm with the aim of handing down the traditions and knowledge of our "old" ones.
With vineyards located in the best wine-growing areas of the cinqueterre, from the coast of Comenecco di Vernazza to the coast of Posa di Volastra, our wine includes a mix of terroirs that are unique in the world.
It is not only agriculture, with our work we resist the advance of the abandonment of the fields that has torn the territory of the five lands, safeguarding the typical dry terracing, increasingly inert to climate change

FIELDS OF THE PRIEST
Located between Manarola and Volastra
South-facing coast directly overlooking the sea, the grapes are continuously kissed by the sun. The vineyards are a mix of fields inherited from grandparents and the new site purchased in 2011 directly by the clergy, in fact it is here that the priest of Volastra cultivated grapes for his personal supply, and we know that the church chose only the best!

COAST OF COMENECCO
Located in Vernazza
To defend the village of Vernazza, the coast of Comenecco rises steeply, facing south-west.
Inherited from the paternal family, these fields they contain the history, tradition and memory of my family. Exceptional grapes, impregnated by the salt that goes up the coast in the south-west swells, give flavor and minerality to our wine.

COSTA SER DE MURTE
Located between Corniglia and Volastra
Torn from the uncultivated with a replanting of the vineyard in 2021, we wait patiently for our fruits of hard work to be born. We have chosen to recover this terroir because it is unanimously considered the best coast by the old farmers of Volastra. Exposed to the south, the coast is protected from any type of wind thanks to the particular conformation of the valley, giving average temperatures considerably higher than any other place in the Cinque Terre.
